Peter Farrelly (born December 17, 1956) is the brother of Bobby Farrelly and the co-director of Dumb and Dumber and Dumb and Dumber To.

Peter co-wrote and directed both movies with his brother, Bobby Farrelly. Dumb and Dumber is listed on the Writers’ Guild of America’s Top 100 Funniest Screenplays of All Time. Other comedies he created with his brother include There’s Something About Mary, Shallow Hal, Kingpin, Stuck on You, and Fever Pitch.

Peter Farrelly co-wrote and directed Green Book in 2018, for which he received two Oscars for Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture. He won two Golden Globes for the movie as well for Best Picture and Best Screenplay. He also co-created, co-directing and co-wrote the TV series Loudermilk.
